Welcome to Valley Animal Hospital & Pet Resort.

When you bring a new pet home, it is so important to schedule an office visit to allow the veterinarian to look them over and make sure all is well with your new family member!  We believe that it is so important that we offer all new patients a discount on the first office exam of 50% off the office exam fee.  We want your pet to have a healthy long life, and know that with routine care and visits it will help them to live long happy lives in their new homes.  Please call the office today to schedule your pet's appointment.

For your convenience, here are some helpful tips to assist you during your first visit.

  • Call for an appointment.  We prefer to schedule you in advance to ensure you and your pet receive the best service.  Our phone number is 256.881.8899.
  • Arrive 10 minutes early.  This will give our receptionist time to verify your information in the computer and show you into an exam room.
  • If your pet has received medical care at another hospital, please have the previous veterinarian fax a copy of your pets medical records to 256.885.0448, so that we may review them in advance of your visit.
  • Remember your first office exam is 50% OFF - no coupon needed.

Payment Options

We make every effort to charge reasonable and fair prices for our services and products and to apply those charges to your account accurately. Some fees vary depending on your pet's weight, such as boarding, spaying, neutering, and bathing, so feel free to call for price estimates over the phone. But keep in mind, quotes and estimates are not binding unless in writing and then only for ten days. If you should find a mistake on your account, please notify us of the discrepancy. Often times the mistake can be cleared up on the phone and our embarrassment usually exceeds your dissatisfaction.

Be aware that when you leave your pet with us your pet's health and well-being is our primary concern. Therefore, unless you tell us otherwise, in advance and in writing on your check-in sheet, we are going to treat your pet in our best medical judgment while he/she is in our custody and care and such charges will be reflected on your invoice.  We make every effort to make you, our clients, happy so that our business will continue to grow through your referrals. We strive to provide the very best in companion pet care for your pet within your needs and abilities.
