Dana moved here in November 2011, from North Carolina with her husband, Sean and two young children, Makaela and Joseph. In her spare time, Dana enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. She looks forward to many years of getting to know you and loving on your furry babies.

Position- Veterinary Assistant
Pet- Maverick

Esther is an Alabama A&M Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s is Microbiology. She lives with her husband, 2 dogs, Cinnamon and Tera, and 4 cats, Maverick, Zelda, Freyja and Ebony. Esther enjoys learning new things about the veterinary field, working on cars, sewing and reading.

Vonda is our lead Technician as well as Technician Manager. She is originally from Grant, Al but has lived un Huntsville for 20 years. She graduated from Jefferson State Community College in 2010; but has been a technician since 1998. Vonda loves working with animals and is very dedicated to her work and family. She and her husband have been married for 23 years and have 2 grown children as well as 3 dogs; 2 Great Danes, Chloe & Major, and a Jack Russell named Jackie.

Pet- Persimmon

Carolenn graduated from Michigan State University in 2005. She has worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 7 years. Carolenn relocated to beautiful Huntsville from Ann Arbor, MI to be closer to her family. She has 2 cats; Isabelle and Sketch. In her spare time, Carolenn likes to read, loves music, art, animals, and spending time with family and friends whenever possible.

Pet- Daphne

Chrissy has been a proud part of the Valley family since 1999. She graduated with an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology in 1998 from Snead State. She shares her home with her husband, Rob; daughter, Chloe and son, Caleb. Her furry children include her dogs, Corgan and Daphne and cat, Ava; also red eared sliders, Thomas and Squirt and 3 Beta fish.

Pet- Gremlin

Sara was born and raised in Hoover, AL and now lives in Hartselle. She loves working here at Valley Animal Hospital, spoiling your pets! Sara spent her childhood making friends with every cat and dog in her neighborhood. Sara now has four dogs of her own; Gremlin (a slightly neurotic Pekingese mix), Birdie (the world’s laziest Beagle), Puppy (a Dachshund mix), and Sentry (aka Bubba, a Great Pyranees with seemingly, limitless patience). She also has one very spoiled cat, Olivia Newton John. When she is not working, Sara loves to read, craft, watch TV, and spend time with family and friends.

Erin has enjoyed every minute of her time here loving on your pets! She is a full time student at UAH majoring in Biology. Erin works with A New Leash on Life rescue group fostering dogs and cats and helping them find good homes. She has 3 dogs, Emmett, Helga and Sydney; as well as one kitty named Libby!

Bethany enjoys working at Valley Animal Hospital, getting to know you and your pets. She has 2 dogs of her own, Caliber an English Springer Spaniel and Pepper a Heinz 57, pure bred mutt. Bethany graduated from Auburn with a Bachelor’s in Zoology, with a concentration in animal behavior. Her experience ranges from volunteer work at Auburn Veterinary School, to working hands-on rehabilitating birds of prey at the Southeastern Raptor Center. Bethany loves hiking, bird watching, and spending time with her pups at the lake.

Beth is very happy to be working with you and your pets. She shares her home with two rescued Dachshunds, Rusty and KK. In her spare time, Beth enjoys spending time with her family and friends, decorating, gardening, and bird watching.

Jasmin is a native of Birmingham, AL. She relocated to Huntsville in 2004 to attend Alabama A&M University where she is studying for her Master’s in Biology with a concentration in Physiology. She shares her home with her mother, her son; Jaxson, her cocker spaniel; Dutchess, and her newest addition, bearded dragon; Brobee.

Jennifer has enjoyed being part of the Valley Animal Hospital family and plans to be a familiar face to your pets for a long time to come. She left us briefly to pursue a double major in Psychology and Sociology at UAH. She shares her home with her husband and their two fur-babies, Prudence and Mayzie. In her spare time, Jennifer likes to cook and spend time with family and friends.

Pet- Franklin

Catherine has an array of adopted animals. Two cats, Thundercat and Loreli, a recent litter of kittens and a dog named Franklin (aka Frank and Beans). She also has an eleven month old horse, Brinley. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys riding dressage horses and jumping. She looks forward to working with your pets for a long time to come!

Megan is a junior and UAH, studying Biology. She has loved animals since she was a kid, so working at Valley Animal Hospital is great because she gets to work with all of your great pets. Megan volunteers by fostering cats and dogs through the rescue organization, A New Leash on Life until they find permanent homes. She has three dogs, Helga, Sydney, and Raina, as well as a cat, Macey.
